Truer wisdom is hard to find.
There is just one little ‘2’ of a difference between the year 2000 and the impending 2020, but it feels like a whole lot more. How did we get from the Y2K scare to 2020 in what seems like, let’s be honest, maybe five years?
The idea that time speeds up and we have very little of it (with none of it guaranteed) isn’t new or groundbreaking. But as we flip the calendar from one year to the next and ponder which new leaves to turn over, which improvements to undertake, what we want our year and ourselves in that year to look like, it’s worth a little extra mental energy.
Make Things Happen in 2020
Let’s make 2020 count. It’s time to jump in with both feet and make things happen. Let’s not just let it pass by like one more of those years that make up a decade that make up a life. For once in a lifetime, let’s pay attention and tackle hard things on purpose. 2020 need not be the same as it ever was.
