In an effort not to be like the cobbler’s children, we have devoted time in the last several months to a re-look at our own branding and website design. We are so excited to go live with this new design, and we hope you love it as much as we do.
Clients ask us all the time how often a business should re-design its site. The answer is “it depends” and certainly varies by business and by website. But, in general, we say that by the 4 to 5-year mark, a website starts to feel its age both from a design and technology standpoint. We launched our former site in 2013, so as we crossed into 2019, we were over our own timeframe recommendations. So, as we planned our twenty-year anniversary celebrations for 2019, we prioritized an update to the dandelion website.
Our primary objective was to update the company’s branding, following our name change in 2018. The new branding includes a fresh look at color, fonts, messaging, and imagery. As with all branding, we sought to ensure that our brand reinforces our work and the unique solutions we provide and appeals to our targeted client group. Our focus is on providing the highest quality online marketing services possible to small businesses so that they can compete with bigger companies and grow accordingly. Our clients tend to be professional services businesses—medical practices, law firms, real estate companies, architects, and providers of local services. We took a hard look at our messaging, design, content, and product offerings and have responded to the needs of our clients with these updates.
